Infrastructure Development
Planning and executing projects related to the development of infrastructure for cultural sites, museums, archaeological sites, and tourist destinations.
Heritage Conservation Planning
Developing plans and strategies for the conservation and preservation of cultural heritage sites, monuments, artifacts, and archival materials.
Tourism Development
Promoting tourism in cultural and heritage sites, including the development of visitor facilities, interpretation centers, and tourism routes.
Architectural Design and Restoration
Designing new structures or restoring and renovating existing cultural buildings, monuments, and archaeological sites while preserving their historical and architectural significance.
Digital Heritage Management
Digitization, documentation, and management of cultural heritage, antiquities, archives, and tourism-related information. It includes initiatives and utilizing technology for heritage preservation and promotion.
Budgeting and Resource Allocation
Managing budgets and allocating resources for various projects within the Culture Tourism Antiquities and Archives department, ensuring effective utilization of funds for heritage conservation & tourism development efforts.
OBJECTIVES
Heritage Preservation
To execute schemes for the conservation, preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of heritage sites across Sindh, safeguarding the historical legacy for future generations.
Cultural Development
To formulate and plan the establishment of libraries, cultural complexes, tourist resorts and museums, creating modern spaces for cultural enrichment and tourism.
Record Keeping
To maintain accurate and comprehensive records of schemes, ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficient project management.

We are dedicated to executing and supervising schemes (projects) that conserve, restore, and rehabilitate heritage sites and buildings, establish libraries, cultural complexes, tourist complexes/resorts, and museums across the province. Through meticulous planning and effective implementation, we aim to safeguard the legacy of Sindh’s culture and history, ensuring its continued vitality.
