About PDM&I Cell (Culture Department)
The Planning, Development, Monitoring & Implementation (PDM&I) Cell of Culture Department Government of Sindh, founded in 2003, stands as a stalwart guardian of Sindh’s cultural heritage and a catalyst for its growth. Our expertise lies in overseeing the Development Portfolio, M&R Works, preserving heritage sites and buildings, and establishing modern cultural and educational facilities across the province.
With a dedicated team of professionals, we meticulously plan, execute, and supervise projects related to conservation, preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of heritage sites and buildings. Moreover, we play a pivotal role in formulating and planning the construction and establishment of libraries, cultural complexes, tourist complexes / resorts, and museums throughout Sindh.
Our commitment to excellence extends to maintaining comprehensive records of schemes, including PC-I, PC-IV, working papers, Notice Inviting Tender (NIT), financial, and administrative documentation. These records reflect our transparency, accountability, and dedication to the responsible stewardship of public resources.
As we embark on our journey, we are driven by a passion to ensure that Sindh’s rich cultural tapestry thrives and continues to enrich the lives of its people. Join us in our mission to preserve, protect, and promote the cultural heritage of Sindh.
